As one of the energy service providers, we invest in renewable energy and intelligent supply and communication systems.
We are a renewable energy company focused on delivering safe, reliable and affordable clean power. Our team combines engineering expertise with real‑world project experience to turn sun, wind and storage technologies into practical energy solutions. From first feasibility study to system monitoring, we work side by side with our clients to reduce emissions and build resilient energy systems for the future.
San Driza Energy purpose is to contribute to a better climate and an improved security of supply. These two goals create a field of tension and can be in opposition to each other. Our core business is the generation of electricity, which is needed to improve security of supply. This is associated with an impact on nature and the environment and causes direct and indirect greenhouse gas emissions. What best contributes to security of supply is not always what is best for our planet.
However, we do not see this as an either-or question. It is our duty to seek solutions that maximise our potential to achieve both our goals – security of supply and environmental consideration. We don't have all the answers, but we are on the way to finding them by tackling challenges head-on, making bold decisions and working closely with our stakeholders in society – customers, partners, investors, communities and environmental organisations – as well as with other companies, industries and countries.
Our vision
Thermal power plants
Hydropower is the most important renewable energy source and the cornerstone of Canada electricity production. It is at the heart of San Driza Energy activities. Thanks to hydropower, we produce CO2-free electricity reliably and flexibly. We have been using this energy source for over a years with our run-of-river, storage and pumped storage power plants.
Wind power
San Driza Energy harnesses wind power as a renewable energy source, making a significant contribution to the energy transition with its Canada power plant portfolio. We utilise wind energy in Canada and US, focusing on environmentally friendly operations.
Solar energy
In its core business of solar energy, San Driza Energy focuses on integrating photovoltaic electricity into the energy system. We prioritise activities and investments in areas where we can make a significant contribution to strengthening security of supply and protecting the climate.
