Our sustainable energy business contributes to a better climate and an improved security of supply. This is the motivation for our actions. San Driza Energy is well positioned to minimise the climate impact of our power production thanks to our use of renewable energies such as a hydropower, photovoltaic and wind power. We also make a significant contribution to security of supply by providing production capacities for the winter in our storage power plants.

We are aware that there are more steps to take. Importantly, however, we have embarked on the journey and we are clear about which direction to take. We are committed to building a sustainable company that minimises the climate impact of its energy management while continuing to make energy available wherever and whenever it’s needed. The planet and society are facing massive challenges, and San Driza Energy is determined to be part of the solution.
Our sustainability strategy
Sustainability is embedded in San Driza Energy’s purpose;
Thanks to our electricity generation using renewable energies (primarily hydropower) and the management of renewable energies for third parties, we are already in a strong position. But we want more. San Driza Energy understands and applies sustainability focusing on the three dimensions of the economy, the environment and social issues – also known as profit, planet and people. As a company, we strive to create economic value for our shareholders while upholding socially and environmentally responsible behaviour. It is with regard to these dimensions of sustainability that we want to demonstrate our performance. And it is by this that we want our success to be measured.
